The Manhattan Dance Championships are underway in Brooklyn, New York, and the hottest days of the competition are streaming LIVE on FloDance on June 30 to July 1.

As one of the premier dance events in the U.S., the Manhattan Dance Championships feature champions in all divisions as well as $120,000 in prize money. 

The competition is co-organized by dream American dance couple Gary McDonald and Diana McDonald, who founded the Manhattan Dance Championships in 1998 after wrapping up a stellar professional career. The McDonalds became the first American couple to win a DanceSport world title in 1994, and after retiring, they turned their attention to organizing an event with dancers in mind.

As competitors continue to flock to Brooklyn each year, the Manhattan Dance Championships have added two new divisions -- a Junior Showcase and a Senior 65 and Older age group -- for 2017. Here's a look at competition's upcoming schedule:

Friday

Start your weekend off right by tuning in at 8 AM to catch the Friday Matinee of the Pro AM International ballroom events LIVE on FloDance. If you aren't quite a morning person, then check out the evening events beginning with the Final Pro-AM International Ballroom Scholarship rounds and wrapping up the night with the Quarterfinal Open Professional Smooth round at 9:25 PM.

The Pro Am International Latin rounds get started at 1:35 PM and conclude with the top award ceremony at 9:14 PM.
