A well-done dance movie not only inspires us to get on our feet and bust a move, but often times, it also inspires us to get out of our comfort zones and go after what we really want as dancers. About a group of eclectic ballet dancers trying to make it in New York at the American Ballet Academy. This one might only speak to millennials.

3) Save the Last Dance

A creative movie that explores interracial relationships through dance.

4) Flashdance

An inspiring movie about a woman dedicated to her dream of getting into ballet school while also working as a welder and exotic dancer.

5) Billy Elliot

An inspiring tale of a young boy learning to fight for his dreams in spite of resistance from those closest to him.

6) Black Swan

A psychological look at a principal ballet dancer's life as she prepares to play the lead role in Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake."

7) Chicago

A film based on a popular Broadway musical of the same name. We follow Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly on death row as they prepare for trial and fight for fame.

8) West Side Story

A 1961 film about teenage love and rival gangs in the streets of New York.

9) Step Up 3

The acting is terrible, but the dancing is on fire.

10) You Got Served

Street dance crews battle for big money to help achieve big dreams.

11) Dirty Dancing Havana Nights

After agreeing to compete together in a local Latin dance competition, Katey, an American girl, falls in love with Javier, a Cuban boy, in late-1950s Cuba when revolution is in the air and tensions are on the rise.
