Findlay Converts On Offense To Remain Undefeated And Best Northwood

In a G-MAC battle on Nov. 1, the Findlay Oilers walked away with a 31-16 victory over Northwood University. 

The Oilers and the Timberwolves went head to head in Hantz Stadium. Findlay got off to a hot start with the first points in the opening quarter. The Oilers would go on to score in every quarter against the Timberwolves. 

In the 31-16 victory, Findlay tallied 345 yards of total offense. Quarterback Chase Harrison was 14-for-23 on pass completion with 143 yards with one touchdown pass. 

The Timberwolves struggled offensively, but managed to pick up a score in every quarter except the first. Northwood found themselves within reach for a majority of the game and will just narrowly fall after the Oilers pieced together two scores in the final quarter. 

In the loss, Northwood tallied 234 yards of offense. Quarterback Ethan Hamby was 21-for-35 on pass completion with 204 yards and two touchdown passes. 

The Oilers move to 9-0 on the season and 7-0 in G-MAC play. Findlay will travel to take on Ashland on Nov. 8. Northwood moves to 7-2 on the season and 5-2 in G-Mac play. The Timberwolves will remain at home to host Tiffin University on Nov. 8.
